Image Uploader licensing FAQ

posted by Andrew on 6 January 2008, 19:01

We have noticeable reworked a portion of website related to Image Uploader pricing and licensing. Since Image Uploader licensing plans became more complicated, we have created a separate section which contains well-structured FAQ describing all possible options:

Also since a number of Image Uploader related online store items are getting exceed all reasonable limits, we have grouped them on the purchase page:

As always, I highly appreciate any feedback. If something is unclear here or you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to inform me. I will try to explain it better.

Question regarding the Image Uploader 5.0 Active X Control.
1) The application requires files to be uploaded to a different server than the one hosting the website.
2) The website will be on a domain such as www.abc.com/xyz or www.xyz.abc.com

The website is to be hosted on a single server for production.  The development website is to be hosted on a different server for development.

Will buying a Domain license will support both of the above requirements?

I would recommend to email to sales@aurigma.com for licensing questions. But anyway, if in your scenario you are going to use it with www.abc.com or xyz.abc.com, you should purchase a license for appropriate domain.

However if you are going to use it on a range of subdomains as sub1.abc.com, sub2.abc.com, etc, single domain license will not be fine. Contact our sales guys for licensing options then.
