Keeping a diary or journal has been a time honored tradition for many creative souls who want to keep a record of their dreams, ideas and observation.  If you’ve ever seen a journal kept by and artist, you may have learned that record keeping can also be an art form, as many artists keep “art journals” where the written words mingle with paints, glitter, photos and other embellishments.

A blog is a journal that anyone can keep … except rather than storing a blog in a desk drawer or under a bed it is kept online.  The many people who want to keep a blog have different levels of technically savvy.  Intuitive, easy to use and understand photo management tools allow those people to extend those blogs of words to include at least the photos of paints, glitter and other embellishments.

Here at Aurigma we are striving to create these types of tools and as we are ourselves beginning to dip into blogging we will even be taking some side time to create other fun tools.  In fact, it has been my drum beat for years and now I can’t wait to start.  Just wait and see.
