This September we are going to have a grand worldwide travel. We will visit Australia and Europe. So, if anyone is interested to meet in person to discuss any questions, do not hesitate to contact me (a.simontsev @ aurigma.com). We would be happy to meet you.

Our travel plan is the following:

1. Australia. Sep 4 - Sep 19. We will be in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane areas.
2. Germany. Sep 22 - Sep 24. We will visit Photokina 2010 in Cologne. 
3. Somewhere in Europe (most likely in Czech). Sep 24 - Sep 30. 
4. Russia. Sep 30 - Oct 3. We will take part in ISDEF'2010 conference in Moscow. 

I will be in touch through email/skype/twitter all this time, although apparently I will be unavailable during flights, etc. But if for some reasons you get no response from me for urgent questions, send a copy to info@aurigma.com, and we will try to handle it.

Several years passed since I have about Twitter for the first time. All this time it was unclear to me why it created such a big hype. However now I felt that it is a really impressive communication channel. That's why I decided to create a Twitter account for Aurigma.

This is just a quick update. We have opened a toll-free number. Feel free to call us at 800-661-8190.

Old number is still alive, so you can still use it, but I would recommend to use the new one. Phone call are not immediately forwarded from old number, so you will have to wait extra 3-4 rings before we answer you.

I am going to tell some news which are quite important for us. Aurigma has been re-organized. From now onward Aurigma Inc is a Virginia-based company. New address can be found on the Contact Us page.

Our Tacoma, WA office has been closed. Please do not call there anymore. New phone number is 703.348.7804.

This post is insired by a pretty sad event. Alex Makhov, one of oldest Aurigma team members, leaves our company today. He brought up our main product Image Uploader from awkward $50-worth ActiveX control version 1.0 to current powerful solution used by many major Web 2.0 players. He did a great job, but he had to move to another city due some family circumstances. So me personally and all Aurigma team wish him good luck with his new life and thank him for all years he spent with us.

But life goes on, and Image Uploader is still actively evolving. Our CTO Dmitry will take care on this project since now. We have a lot of great plans for this product and Alex's leave will not break them. I will be glad to share these plans in my future posts. ;-)

I am wondering why we did not it much earlier, but it is better to do later than never. I have just created Aurigma community group on Facebook. Everyone who uses/used Aurigma products or just interested are welcome to join us!

It should happen some time. We open our own blog portal, and our guys (including me ) are going to share thoughts with the world. Although this is Aurigma people place, we hope it will be two-way channel. If anyone has anything to say, just do not hesitate and drop comments here.
