Hi there,

This September we are going to have a grand worldwide travel. We will visit Australia and Europe. So, if anyone is interested to meet in person to discuss any questions, do not hesitate to contact me (a.simontsev @ aurigma.com). We would be happy to meet you.

Our travel plan is the following:

  1. Australia. Sep 4 - Sep 19. We will be in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane areas.
  2. Germany. Sep 22 - Sep 24. We will visit Photokina 2010 in Cologne.
  3. Somewhere in Europe (most likely in Czech). Sep 24 - Sep 30.
  4. Russia. Sep 30 - Oct 3. We will take part in ISDEF'2010 conference in Moscow.

I will be in touch through email/skype/twitter all this time, although apparently I will be unavailable during flights, etc. But if for some reasons you get no response from me for urgent questions, send a copy to info@aurigma.com, and we will try to handle it.

Two big news: major website update and new product releases

posted by Andrew on 25 June 2010, 21:49

Hi there,

Last months (and especially last days) we had a lot of work: we prepared a major website update. Old website structure was pretty inconvenient, and some texts are inaccurate and outdated. It was caused with legacy reasons - we maintained that website structure for years, and it was not flexible enough to reflect changes.

That's why we made a decision to create the website from a scratch. We did our best to make it modern, convenient, and of course, informative.

Now we completely separated it into two websites:

All changes are too global to describe it in this blog, so just Feel free to visit it and take a look. :-)

The second news is that we released Image Uploader Flash - Flash-based sibling of our Image Uploader ActiveX/Java product. Of course, Flash does not allow to implement the upload component with all those features that make Image Uploader Dual so great and unique. But we did our best, and at my opinion this product is still great.

As its old Dual sibling, it is able to upload multiple files at a single click and resize photos before upload. As any Flash-based app, its look-and-feel is much more customizable, and it is much easier to fit it to any website design.

Check out Aurigma Image Uploader Flash

And last but not least: we have released a number of Image Uploader based plugins for different CMS and e-commerce system - Drupal, Joomla!, VirtueMart, Zen Cart. To tell the truth, we had these plugins earlier, but now we have released them as full-fledged products.

Any feedback is highly appreciated. Feel free to drop your impressions or thoughts to info@aurigma.com.

A little bit later I will post more details about new releases. So, stay tuned! Smile

Hello everyone,

Several years passed since I have about Twitter for the first time. All this time it was unclear to me why it created such a big hype. However now I felt that it is a really impressive communication channel. That's why I decided to create a Twitter account for Aurigma.

Follow us on Twitter to get latest information about our products and our plans, and of course to communicate us. :)

New phone number

Hi there,

This is just a quick update. We have opened a toll-free number. Feel free to call us at 800-661-8190.

Old number is still alive, so you can still use it, but I would recommend to use the new one. Phone call are not immediately forwarded from old number, so you will have to wait extra 3-4 rings before we answer you.

Aurigma YouTube Channel

You guys might have seen the screencast video I have uploaded to YouTube. Now I'm happy to spread the word that Aurigma Channel on YouTube is finally set up.

There is only 1 video - and it has been already viewed more than 500 times over 3 weeks. I think that's a good start. I'm very much looking forward to making more screencasts and tutorial videos. Here, I certainly need your advice. Just feel free to throw in some interesting ideas - these will be really valuable to me.
